Completed Secondary Education/ High School
The high school diploma along with the mark sheet prove the successful completion of secondary education at a recognized High School in the respective country. Pre-application is possible, when the prospect student is in his/her last year of studies at a High School and is expected to receive his/her diploma within a time frame, which corresponds to the deadlines for application and submission of documents.

English language proficiency
The English language proficiency level is proven by presenting an internationally recognized certificate with a minimum result equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (B2 in the European language framework). In case you do not have such certificate, you have to sit for an English language exam organized by VUM, which can take place on campus or online. The required result must be not less than 62%. If the level of English is insufficient, you can be enrolled in a preparatory English language semester at VUM or join additional language module, depending on the actual level of language proficiency. For prospect students, whose native language is English (citizens of Great Britain, Ireland, USA, Australia, Canada /excluding Quebec/ and New Zealand) and have graduated High School studying in English, the English proficiency certificate is not mandatory.

High level of motivation
Motivation is the foundation of successful education and future successful career. As a leading business school in Eastern Europe, we are constantly developing our curriculum to make sure we offer the most up-to-date knowledge and train the proper skills required by the industry for the future professionals. Our programmes are also in synchronized with those of our strategic academic partner in the UK, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and meet the strict requirements not only of the Bulgarian but also of the British university education system. Our students should follow the same high standards in education and exams as their colleagues in the United Kingdom. This requires VUM students to possess and demonstrate high motivation to invest time and effort to follow their career goals with the acquired knowledge and skills.
